CLARK ART INSTITUTE TEAMS WITH IS183 TO OFFER WATERCOLOR CLASS

Williamstown, Massachusetts—“From Gallery to Landscape,” a watercolor class for all skill levels, will be held at the Clark Art Institute on Saturday, August 19 from 10 am to 2 pm. Led by instructor Marilyn Orner Cromwell of IS183 Art School of the Berkshires, the class combines art appreciation and creation. Tuition is $75 ($65 members); combination tuition for an adult accompanied by a child aged 10–18 is $125 ($105 members). Tuition includes all materials and observation in the galleries. Students begin by observing and discussing the use of color and composition in selected artworks in the Clark’s galleries. A demonstration and basic instruction on painting techniques follows. Using watercolor and portable materials, students work outdoors on the museum campus.
