Advancement/Fundraising Prospect Research Analyst

The Clark is seeking a full-time research analyst to have an integral role in prospect identification, qualification, and the tracking of key relationships within the Clark’s fundraising constituencies. The Prospect Research Analyst also collaborates actively with the fundraising staff regarding cultivation and solicitation strategies.

Duties include:

- Orchestrating monthly Prospect Review sessions with Individual Giving team to review research data.
- Writing in-depth biographical and financial profiles on individuals, foundations, and corporations using a wide variety of business and prospect research resources, including on-line sources, news media, and vendor-produced data.
- Coordinating department information resources including identification and selection of information sources and vendors.
- Keeping current on the use of prospect research and reference tools, including electronic databases and APRA, and attending development research seminars as appropriate.

Candidates must have knowledge of databases and database management, including data extraction and preparing reports. Previous research experience, including utilizing online sources, is required. Experience working with Raiser’s Edge and DonorScape preferred. Proven organizational skills and accuracy are a must, as well as demonstrated ability to work with confidential documents and to maintain confidentiality. Must be competent in a variety of computer applications, including database, spreadsheet, and word processing programs. The successful candidate will have a BA or BS degree in a related field.
