Grounds Assistant

The Clark Art Institute seeks a full-time Grounds Assistant to maintain the Institute’s grounds, plantings, walks, drives, parking, fountain, and picnic areas. The typical work week is Sunday through Thursday, 8:30 am–5:30 pm.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and experience with grounds and equipment maintenance operations, including snow and ice removal. This is a physically demanding job requiring heavy lifting.

Must be able to work in a team environment and demonstrate flexibility in response to changing priorities. Must be flexible to work outside of regular hours for events and snow removal. A self-starter with the ability to achieve results without supervision is also a plus.

Interested applicants should submit a letter of application, résumé, salary requirements, and the names of three professional references via email to HumanResources@clarkart.edu or mail to Human Resources, Clark Art Institute, 225 South Street, Williamstown, MA 01267. The Clark is an equal opportunity employer.
