Membership Intern

Position Summary
 
Membership interns work as part of the front-line customer service team at the Clark and are the advancement representatives at the admissions desk for members, VIP guests, and museum visitors. Interns learn how to engage with members and potential members, an important aspect of working in a museum advancement office. Interns work at the membership desk selling memberships, answering questions about membership, and assisting with member events and programs. Additional time will be spent in the Clark’s advancement office performing a variety of duties such as processing donations, putting together membership materials, and speaking with members and donors on the phone. Maintaining the Clark-Williams (Ephs at the Clark) and the Clark-MCLA connection is an important aspect of this position and includes social media updates and Clark program development for Williams and MCLA students. Interns also have the opportunity to work at the June exhibition opening party, Paris by Night, the Clark’s major kick-off to summer in the Berkshires.
