Shelver/Book Processing Assistant

The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute library is offering a part-time position, 12 hours per week for the remainder of calendar year 2017, for a Shelver/Book Processing Assistant. The position involves shelving books and physically processing new material including labeling, bookplating, and security tagging. Applicants must have basic computer skills and be physically able to lift and carry books, to shelve at the level of the ground, and to climb onto a step-stool and shelve overhead. Applicants must be able to work with concentration and attention to detail. Training will be provided, but any library experience is a plus.
