Take a closer look at the Clark’s collection during Looking and Lunching, a half hour of discussion focusing on one work from the collection followed by continued discussion over lunch with the presenter and fellow art lovers. This month, join Alexis Goodin, curatorial research associate, as she discusses Jean-Léon Gérôme’s Fellah Women Drawing Water, a painting notable for the artist’s depiction of daily life in the Near East and as part of a larger body of works depicting laundresses across art history.

Free with gallery admission; arrive early to pre-order and purchase your meal or bring your own lunch. Limited seating available.
