For Immediate Release
October 02, 2002
Sarah Lees, assistant curator at the Clark Art Institute, will give a half-hour gallery talk on Thursday, October 10, at 12:30 p.m. Her topic will be the painting Crossing the Street by Giovanni Boldini. The talk is part of the series "Desert Island Pictures," offered at the Clark on the second Thursday of every month, in which curators discuss works in the Clark collection that they would take with them if "stranded on a desert island." The lunchtime program is free with gallery admission. Lunch is available for purchase before or after the talk.
The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute is located at 225 South Street in Williamstown, Massachusetts. The galleries are open Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is $10 (members, students, and children free). For more information call 413-458-2303 or visit www.clarkart.edu.
