Clark Library Takes Summer Hiatus
For Immediate Release
March 22, 2013
Williamstown, MA—The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute’s library will temporarily suspend operations from June 1 through September 3, 2013 to accommodate installation of a new fire protection system throughout the library. The summer hiatus has been scheduled to take place during a time when demand for library services is typically lowest and to ensure that the library is fully operational prior to the start of the 2013-14 academic year.
The construction project in the library will have no impact on daily activities in the Clark’s galleries or on public programs on the campus.
Patrons will be able to access some of the library’s resources online through its digital collections (clarkart.edu/library), but access to books and other materials will be unavailable for this period. The Clark’s library staff will remain accessible via telephone and e-mail to provide assistance and information. To contact the library, call 413 458 0532 or email email@example.com.
