The Clark’s Impressionist Gallery will be Filled with Music on Sunday Afternoons in April

Visitors to the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute on Sundays, April 8, 15, 22, and 29 will enjoy a fantastic combination of art and live music. Williams College music students will perform Arts Break Concerts at 1 pm filling the “Impressionist Gallery” with pleasing melodies.

Previous Arts Break Concerts have included handbell, chamber, flute, and brass choirs, in the spacious, natural light-filled gallery home to paintings by Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Claude Monet, and sculptures by Edgar Degas.

The Clark is located at 225 South Street in Williamstown. The galleries are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm (daily in July and August). Admission is free November through May. Admission June 1 through October 31 is $12.50 for adults, free for children 18 and younger, members, and students with valid ID. For more information, call 413-458-2303 or visit www.clarkart.edu.
