Art History on the Disciplinary Map in
East-Central Europe

The second seminar in the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute’s East-Central Europe Seminar Series, Unfolding Narratives: Art Histories in East-Central Europe after 1989, took place in the region between 2010 and 2011. This series is an international initiative of the Research and Academic Program at The Clark, and was made possible by a generous grant from the Andrew. W. Mellon Foundation, with additional support from the Getty Foundation’s Connecting Art Histories initiative. Regional partners for this seminar were Masaryk University and the Moravian Gallery, Brno.
