Pierre-Lin Renié

Renié is curator in charge at the Musée Goupil, Bordeaux. As curator of the museum’s collection of nineteenth-century photographs, books, and engravings, Renié organized the recent exhibition Gérôme & Goupil: Art and Enterprise. While at the Clark, he will further his research into the function and status of reproductive prints during the rise of photography in the second half of the nineteenth century.
