Since the Clark’s original 1955 museum building is currently undergoing renovation work, the permanent collection has been relocated to galleries in the Manton Research Center on the Clark's campus.
Highlights from the collection are presented in the exhibition Clark Classic, featured in two galleries on the first floor of the building, including Old Master, American, Impressionist, and British paintings.
The special interactive installation, Clark Remix, features more than 400 objects from the collection in a dynamic new installation on the second floor of the building.
Special exhibitions are regularly presented in the upstairs galleries of the Manton Research Center. Currently on view: Electric Paris, Backstories, and Everyday Nothing: a uCurate Exhibition. In addition, the Clark's Stone Hill Center galleries are currently hosting the first-ever Kidspace exhibition at the Clark, Lions and Tigers and Museums, Oh My!
