Three installations of selected works from the permanent collection are on view at Stone Hill Center on our campus. Stone Hill Center is open Tuesday–Sunday, 10 am–5 pm. Admission is free.
Please note: Both the museum building and Manton Research Center galleries are closed while they undergo renovation as part of the Clark's campus expansion program.
The Clark welcomes families to enjoy our galleries and our beautiful campus. The domestic scale of the galleries and the works makes coming here a very comfortable experience.
Be sure to plan some extra time for hiking on our well maintained trails. You might also introduce your children to our Kids Activities page, where you will find a number of interactive activities that might whet their appetite for a visit.
Three times a year, the Clark holds special family days in celebration of a special exhibition or a part of our permanent collection. These include a variety of activities—gallery talks, art making, and related entertainment—both inside and out. For more information on other family programs, please see the Calendar of Events.
Whatever kind of art you like looking at, we think you will be able to find something interesting, exciting, and enjoyable at the Clark, and we hope that this brief introduction has encouraged you to make a visit. If you have any questions or comments, we'd like to hear from you. You can call the Education Department at 413 458 0563, or e-mail The Education Department.
