The second film in the EXHIBITION series, Munch 150, celebrates the 150th anniversary of the birth of Edvard Munch (1863–1944), one of the towering figures of modern art. Jay Clarke, Manton Curator of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs at the Clark, will present an introduction to the film and host a question-and-answer session afterwards. Tickets are $12 ($10 members and students). Click here to purchase tickets or call 413 458 0524.

Munch 150, co-hosted by the National Museum and the Munch Museum (both in Oslo), is already garnering worldwide interest. The cinema event will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the process of putting the exhibition together, as well as an in-depth biography of the artist. Norwegian and international guests will offer their expert insight.

The three-part EXHIBITION series concludes on October 20 with Vermeer and Music—The Art of Love and Leisure. The screening takes place at the National Gallery in London, where audiences will see a unique perspective on the masterpieces of Johannes Vermeer. Each event screening, hosted by art historian Tim Marlow, ventures beyond the gallery with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.
