Piero della Francesca, Virgin and Child Enthroned with Four Angels, c. 1460-70
Piero Conversation and Exhibitions Preview
Friday, September 20, 2013
Celebrate the recent homecoming of Piero della Francesca’s Virgin and Child Enthroned with Four Angels with a fascinating conversation with Tom Loughman, Clark associate director and historian of Trecento art, and Samuel Edgerton, Amos Lawrence Professor of Art History at Williams College and director emeritus of the Clark/Williams College Graduate Program in the History of Art.
Also on that evening, Clark members will have the opportunity to preview three shows at Stone Hill Center that spotlight some of the most important works in the Clark's collection. This is a great chance to see some favorite Clark paintings before their reinstallation for the reopening of the museum in 2014!
Cocktails will be served at 5 pm; the program begins at 5:30 pm. Space is limited; reservations are required. Click here to make reservations or call 413 458 0524.
