Communications Intern

20 hours per week ($11/hour)
Position Summary
The Communications Department intern assists the department in promoting and raising awareness of the Clark via public relations, marketing, social networking, and advertising. 
Essential Functions
The communications intern proofreads copy for the print calendar, press releases, advertisements, e-blasts and other materials; posts internal and external online calendar listings; researches opportunities for social media campaigns; assists with media relations and helps maintain press lists; maintains press clipping books and prepares media summaries as directed; and assists in gathering copy and images for website use. The communications intern also helps develop and implement promotional opportunities in the community, including organizing and participating in the Clark’s presentation in the July 4 Williamstown parade.
