deck of cards, by PETER H. BEAMAN
Deck of Cards consists of a deck of 56 cards with silk screen collage imagery on one side of each card and texts on the other, cut to resemble a large deck of playing cards. Cards can be arranged at the whim of the reader to tell a story, the 'plot' of which involves five characters in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, and includes a brief affair between Paul and Julie and a bus ride in the East End of Pittsburgh.
Limited edition of 600 numbered copies; numbers 1-100 are signed by the artist and the author.
