To honor Indigenous Peoples’ Day, the Stockbridge-Munsee Community’s Tribal Historic Preservation Office is presenting a workshop led by Kim Hoffman, descendant of the Stockbridge-Munsee Community. In this workshop, Hoffman explores staying connected to creation through compassion and tribal healing modalities. Trained in massage therapy and Asian body work, Hoffman brings her cultural teachings and traditional Indigenous medicinal knowledge to the workshop as she shares holistic techniques.

The event is part of the Stockbridge-Munsee Community’s exhibit, “Our Lands, Our Home, Our Heart,” which will be open for visitors. The timing of the event on Indigenous Peoples’ Day is to honor and celebrate the Stockbridge-Munsee Community, the Indigenous peoples of the Berkshires.

Free. Advance registration through the Mission House Museum required; capacity is limited. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Event will be held outdoors, or indoors due to inclement weather. Participants are encouraged to bring a writing utensil and something to write on. To register, click here.
