Get directions to the ClarkKick-start the year with a moment of reflection, art, and imagination. Get creative with paper and glue as you design a journal, and settle in with writing prompts encouraging everyone to reflect on the past year and dream for the year ahead. Try your hand as a sculptor and create a colorful self-portrait out of modeling clay. Theater artist David Lane leads two forty-five-minute drama workshops exploring mirrors and masks at 1 pm and 3 pm in the Conforti Pavilion. Workshop games and exercises involve light physical movement designed to be accessible for all bodies. As always, join us inside and outside of the galleries for fun opportunities to engage with art, each other, and ourselves as we welcome the new year!
Free admission all day. Special activities in the Family Room, Conforti Pavilion, and Museum Pavilion from 1–4 pm. Capacity is limited for the drama workshops at 1 pm and 3 pm; participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. The workshops are designed for ages 12 and older.
Family programs are generously supported by Allen & Company.
