Ximena Bedoya, originally from Perú, is an interdisciplinary artist based in New York. Her current practice explores the interconnections between sound, film, and sculptural objects. She works with electronics, field recordings, voice, and handmade wind/water instruments to develop compositions that speak to a particular frame of reference on the concepts of impermanence, chance, memory, and the complications of language—from the act of listening to the moment of speech delivery. She co-founded Lobby Art Editions, a record label focused on a variety of sonic approaches while expanding into non-musical objects and other visual mediums. Bedoya holds a BFA in Industrial Design and an MFA in Applied Craft and Design from the Pacific Northwest College of Art.

LOCULUS opens. A dance collective founded in 2015 in Western Massachusetts by Five College Dance alumni, LOCULUS is the creative platform of Olana Flynn and Madison Palffy. LOCULUS's performances are site-specific and rooted in engagement with DIY artist communities, often taking place in bars, yards, and houses.

Free. Accessible seats available; for information, call 413 458 0524. This program is presented in collaboration with Belltower Records, North Adams, Massachusetts.
