The Manton Study Center for Works on Paper welcomes artists of all experience and skill levels to find inspiration in thematic selections from the Clark’s collection of works on paper. September’s theme is “Over the Hills and Through the Woods,” featuring prints, drawings, and photographs of natural landscapes and their defining aesthetic elements, from distant trees atop rolling hills to streams running along the foreground. Enjoy an open session to participate in the tradition of copying earlier artworks or choose to practice fundamentals and explore ideas.
Basic materials are provided. Artists bringing their own supplies should note that only graphite pencils are allowed in the Study Center.
Free. Advance registration required. Capacity is limited.
