Kathleen Morris, Sylvia and Leonard Marx Director of Collections and Exhibitions and curator of decorative arts, discusses recently acquired ceramics, including a group of Abolitionist objects made in England in the early years of the nineteenth century, and a large bear-shaped jug made as a satiric commentary on Napoleon Bonaparte. A buffet lunch will be served in the Clark’s penthouse following the program.
