CLARK LIBRARY TAKES SUMMER HIATUS

Williamstown, MA—The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute’s library will temporarily suspend operations from June 1 through September 3, 2013 to accommodate installation of a new fire protection system throughout the library. The summer hiatus has been scheduled to take place during a time when demand for library services is typically lowest and to ensure that the library is fully operational prior to the start of the 2013-14 academic year.

The construction project in the library will have no impact on daily activities in the Clark’s galleries or on public programs on the campus.

Patrons will be able to access some of the library’s resources online through its digital collections (clarkart.edu/library), but access to books and other materials will be unavailable for this period. The Clark is located at 225 South Street in Williamstown, Massachusetts. The galleries are open daily in July and August (open Tuesday through Sunday from September through June), 10 am to 5 pm. Admission is $15 June 1 through October 31; free November through May; and free year-round for Clark members, children 18 and younger, and students with valid ID.
