CLARK ART INSTITUTE TO EXTEND HOURS OVER LABOR DAY WEEKEND

Williamstown, Massachusetts—The Clark Art Institute has announced extended hours for its popular Van Gogh and Nature exhibition over the Labor Day weekend: Friday, September 4, 10 am–8 pm; Saturday, September 5, 9 am–5 pm; and Sunday, September 6, 9 am–5 pm.
The extended hours apply only to the Van Gogh and Nature exhibition, which is located in the Clark Center. The permanent collection galleries in the Museum Building and the Whistler’s Mother: Grey, Black, and White exhibition in the Lunder Center at Stone Hill galleries will be open regular hours, 10 am–5 pm.
Dining hours will also be extended: On Friday, September 4, Francine’s and Café 7 will be open until 8 pm; on Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6, Francine’s will open at 9 am.
ABOUT THE CLARK
The Clark Art Institute, located in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, is one of a small number of institutions globally that is both an art museum and a center for research, critical discussion, and higher education in the visual arts. Opened in 1955, the Clark houses exceptional European and American paintings and sculpture, extensive collections of master prints and drawings, English silver, and early photography. The Clark is located at 225 South Street in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Galleries are open daily in July and August, 10 am to 5 pm; open September through June, Tuesday through Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm.
