CLARK ART INSTITUTE WELCOMES NEW PARENTS, INFANTS FOR SERIES OF FREE GALLERY TALKS

Williamstown, Massachusetts—The Clark Art Institute kicks off its popular New Parents Gallery Talk series on Friday, November 6 at 10:15 am. Designed to give parents a break from thinking about “all things baby,” the free, informal gallery talks are held in the permanent collection galleries. This program is best suited for parents with pre-toddlers; strollers and front-style baby carriers are permitted. Reservations are not required.
Subsequent gallery talks in the series take place on Fridays, December 4, January 8, February 5, and March 4.
ABOUT THE CLARK
The Clark Art Institute, located in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, is one of a small number of institutions globally that is both an art museum and a center for research, critical discussion, and higher education in the visual arts. Opened in 1955, the Clark houses exceptional European and American paintings and sculpture, extensive collections of master prints and drawings, English silver, and early photography. Acting as convener through its Research and Academic Program, the Clark gathers an international community of scholars to participate in a lively program of conferences, colloquia, and workshops on topics of vital importance to the visual arts.
