FREE SUMMER CONCERTS UNDER WAY AT CLARK ART INSTITUTE

Beatles Tribute Band to Perform

For Immediate Release
June 28, 2016

Williamstown, MA—Relive the magical music of the British Invasion with Across the Pond, a popular Beatles tribute band performing at the Clark Art Institute on Tuesday, July 12 at 6 pm. The free concert will be held on the lawn adjacent to the Clark Center. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, and picnic meals; barbecue fare will also be available for sale.

Across the Pond strives to capture the exuberance of a Beatles live show, including later songs the Beatles recorded but never performed in concert. The band, founded in 2006 by guitarist and vocalist Marc Clayton, also includes Jonathan Newell on bass, keyboard, and vocal; Tim Wozniuk on drums, percussion, and vocal; and Joe Tucker on lead guitar and vocal.

Across the Pond performs regularly on the North Country festival circuit, including locations such as Castleton University in Castleton, Vermont; Cooke Park in Colonie, New York; Shepard Park in Lake George, New York; and the Clark in Williamstown, Massachusetts, as well as numerous private parties and clubs.
