BOOKSTORE AT CLARK ART INSTITUTE TO HOLD SALE

Williamstown, Massachusetts—A bookstore returns to the Clark Art Institute’s Manton Research Center on Saturday, November 12 with the reopening of the center, which has been closed due to extensive renovations. In celebration of the opening, all titles in the new retail space will be offered at thirty percent off through December 31, 2016.

The bookstore will feature a comprehensive collection of Clark publications and an extensive selection of art-related books, along with a breadth of works featuring scholars associated with the Clark. An array of new titles includes current exhibition catalogues, artist monographs, biographies, and historical surveys.

The store will be open during regular museum hours, currently Tuesday through Sunday, 10 am–5 pm; open daily in July and August, 10 am–5 pm. For more information on Manton Research Center opening weekend events, visit clarkart.edu.

ABOUT THE CLARK

The Clark Art Institute, located in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, is one of a small number of institutions globally that is both an art museum and a center for research, critical discussion, and higher education in the visual arts. Opened in 1955, the Clark houses exceptional European and American paintings and sculpture, extensive collections of master prints and drawings, English silver, and early photography. The Clark is located at 225 South Street in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Galleries are open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm.
