‘DINNER AND THE SHOW’ AT CLARK ART INSTITUTE OFFERS GOURMET DINING AND PRIVATE GALLERY ACCESS

Exhibition curator to discuss Splendor, Myth, and Vision: Nudes from the Prado

Williamstown, MA—An intimate evening pairs fine art with fine dining at the Clark Art Institute on Thursday, August 25. Private access to Splendor, Myth, and Vision: Nudes from the Prado, with a talk by exhibition co-curator Lara Yeager-Crasselt, begins at 6 pm in the Clark Center. A prix-fixe dinner in Café 7, served at communal tables and created by Executive Chef Dan Hardy, follows at 7 pm. Tickets are $75 ($70 members), which includes museum admission, dinner, tax, and gratuity (beverages extra). Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available upon advance request.

The menu includes tomato, cucumber, and romaine salad; roasted fingerling potatoes with lemon-chive smoked aioli; tortilla espanola; braised chicken and saffron rice with raisins and pine nuts; and warm bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream.

“Dinner and the Show” showcases the exceptional cuisine of Stephen Starr Events, a division of the acclaimed Starr Restaurant Group. Starr, the Clark's culinary partner, brings creative, innovative, and artful menus to Café 7 that feature locally sourced ingredients.

ABOUT THE CLARK
The Clark Art Institute, located in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, is one of a small number of institutions globally that is both an art museum and a center for research, critical discussion, and higher education in the visual arts.
