MORNING MEDITATION AT CLARK ART INSTITUTE CELEBRATES ‘SENSING PLACE’ EXHIBITION

For Immediate Release
June 21, 2016

Williamstown, MA—Linda Finney, a licensed massage therapist with a practice in Williamstown, leads a free morning meditation at the Clark Art Institute on Monday, July 4 at 8:15 am. The meditation welcomes the opening of the exhibition Sensing Place: Reflecting on Stone Hill.

Participants will meet at the entrance of the Lunder Center at Stone Hill on the Clark’s campus and hike to the meadow on Stone Hill. Bring a mat and/or a bolster if possible. In the event of rain, the meditation will be held on the Spencer Terrace at the Lunder Center at Stone Hill.

Sensing Place: Reflecting on Stone Hill explores the meaning of place by immersing visitors in the rich natural and cultural history of Stone Hill from its geological formation to the present. The exhibition is on view July 4–October 10, 2016.
