BRING THE FAMILY TO ‘SUMMER SUNDAY’ AT CLARK ART INSTITUTE

For Immediate Release
July 29, 2016

Williamstown, MA—Outdoor performance art takes center stage at the Clark Art Institute on Sunday, August 14 from 1–4 pm for “Arts Alive,” the next installment of the Clark’s Summer Sundays program designed for families. Characters inspired by the summer exhibition Splendor, Myth, and Vision greet visitors in the form of wandering, living statues; twice Grammy-nominated guitarist Jose Lezcano performs at 1 pm; and artmaking activities are available throughout the afternoon.

The Summer Sundays program, which continues through August 28, invites families to learn more about the Golden Age of the Spanish nobility and celebrate the human body. Free with admission; children under 18 and members are always free. Certain activities are weather-dependent. For more information, visit clarkart.edu/events.

This program is supported by funding from the officers and employees of Allen & Company, Inc.
