SUMMER SUNDAYS CONTINUE AT CLARK ART INSTITUTE

Williamstown, MA—Summer Sundays, the Clark Art Institute’s family program, continues on Sunday, July 24 from 1–4 pm with a classical and flamenco guitar performance by Jason and Elysa Hochman, the elite musical couple behind Rumba Flamenca and co-founders of the New York Guitar Academy. The performance will be held on the Fernández Terrace adjacent to the Clark Center and is free with admission.
Each Sunday afternoon in July and August, families are invited to learn more about the Golden Age of the Spanish nobility and celebrate the human body, exploring the history and themes central to the Clark’s summer exhibition, Splendor, Myth, and Vision: Nudes from the Prado. ABOUT THE CLARK
The Clark Art Institute, located in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, is one of a small number of institutions globally that is both an art museum and a center for research, critical discussion, and higher education in the visual arts. Opened in 1955, the Clark houses exceptional European and American paintings and sculpture, extensive collections of master prints and drawings, English silver, and early photography. Acting as convener through its Research and Academic Program, the Clark gathers an international community of scholars to participate in a lively program of conferences, colloquia, and workshops on topics of vital importance to the visual arts. The Clark is located at 225 South Street in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Galleries are open daily in July and August, 10 am to 5 pm.
