YOGA FOR SENIORS OFFERED AT CLARK ART INSTITUTE

Williamstown, Massachusetts—A four-part series of yoga classes designed specifically for seniors will be held at the Clark Art Institute on Thursdays, January 21, January 28, February 4, and February 11 at 11 am. The fee is $40 for all four classes ($30 for Clark members); the drop-in rate is $12 per class ($8 members). To register, visit clarkart.edu or call 413 458 0524.
Certified yoga instructor Mary Edgerton explores visualization techniques and meditation to reduce stress and encourage a greater sense of peaceful well-being. The chair-based class focuses on stretching and toning muscles, safely exploring greater mobility in the joints, and improving balance. Seniors of all different levels in mobility and flexibility are welcome. The one-hour classes will be held in Hunter Studio at the Lunder Center at Stone Hill; please bring a yoga mat if you have one.
Mary Edgerton teaches yoga at Williams College, the Harper Center at the Williamstown Council on Aging, and Williamstown Youth Center.
ABOUT THE CLARK
The Clark Art Institute, located in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, is one of a small number of institutions globally that is both an art museum and a center for research, critical discussion, and higher education in the visual arts.
