CAPITAL BRASS PROMISES AN EVENING OF GREAT MUSIC AT CLARK ART INSTITUTE

Williamstown, Massachusetts—The Clark's free summer concert series concludes Tuesday, July 25 at 6:30 pm with Capital Brass, a brass ensemble that plays everything from Jimmy Buffett to John Philip Sousa. The concert takes place on the Clark Center lawn; in the event of rain, it will be held in the auditorium. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, and picnic meals; light refreshments will be available for purchase.

Featuring a wide range of music, including Dixieland, swing, pop, patriotic, and contemporary big band, Capital Brass hails from Albany, New York. The band is known for upbeat performances that get the crowd moving. Fun for all ages!

ABOUT THE CLARK
The Clark Art Institute, located in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, is one of a small number of institutions globally that is both an art museum and a center for research, critical discussion, and higher education in the visual arts. Opened in 1955, the Clark houses exceptional European and American paintings and sculpture, extensive collections of master prints and drawings, English silver, and early photography.
