JOIN FRIENDS, COLLEAGUES AT CLARK ART INSTITUTE FOR ‘CLARK AFTER HOURS’

Williamstown, Massachusetts—Enjoy a social evening of creativity, live jazz, and artful conversation at the Clark Art Institute for Clark After Hours on Friday, February 3 at 7 pm. In conjunction with the Institute’s special exhibition Japanese Impressions: Color Woodblock Prints from the Rodbell Family Collection—and in the spirit of Setsubun, a Japanese celebration signifying good luck in the coming spring—Clark After Hours offers private, after-hours access to the exhibition, including gallery talks at 7:30 and 8:00 pm. An art-making session invites visitors to create a kintsugi collage wall hanging inspired by the Japanese wabi-sabi aesthetic.

ABOUT THE CLARK

The Clark Art Institute, located in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, is one of a small number of institutions globally that is both an art museum and a center for research, critical discussion, and higher education in the visual arts. Opened in 1955, the Clark houses exceptional European and American paintings and sculpture, extensive collections of master prints and drawings, English silver, and early photography.
