GENTLE YOGA CLASSES OFFERED AT CLARK ART INSTITUTE

Williamstown, Massachusetts—The Clark Art Institute’s popular gentle yoga classes are back! Certified yoga instructor Mary Edgerton of Night Sky Yoga leads a unique four-part class on Wednesdays, October 18, October 25, November 1, and November 8 at 10:30 am. Classes are held in the Michael Conforti Pavilion.
Tuition is $40 for all four classes ($30 for Clark members), or drop in for $12 per class ($8 members). To register, visit clarkart.edu or call 413 458 0524.
Each class focuses on a work in the Clark’s collection to explore visualization techniques and meditation, reducing stress and encouraging a greater sense of peaceful well-being. Participants learn how to stretch and tone muscles, safely explore greater mobility, improve balance, and more. Experienced yogis and beginners alike are welcome. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one.
ABOUT THE CLARK
The Clark Art Institute, located in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, is one of a small number of institutions globally that is both an art museum and a center for research, critical discussion, and higher education in the visual arts. Opened in 1955, the Clark houses exceptional European and American paintings and sculpture, extensive collections of master prints and drawings, English silver, and early photography.
