JOIN FELLOW ART LOVERS FOR ‘LOOKING AND LUNCHING’ AT CLARK ART INSTITUTE

Williamstown, Massachusetts—Looking and Lunching, a series of afternoon talks combining focused investigation and friendly discussion with fellow art lovers, continues at the Clark Art Institute on Thursday, March 16 at 12 pm in the Manton Research Center. Kathleen Morris, Sylvia and Leonard Marx Director of Collections and Exhibitions and curator of decorative arts, presents “Here Comes the General” as she discusses a case of works memorializing George Washington in the new Henry Morris and Elizabeth H. Burrows Gallery.

Tickets are $20 ($12 members) and include admission to the galleries, discussion, and lunch provided by Café 7. Menu choices include a grilled chicken breast panini with roasted mozzarella, spinach, and basil pesto or a butter lettuce and frisée salad with apple, bleu cheese, celery, and roasted carrots. ABOUT THE CLARK

The Clark Art Institute, located in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, is one of a small number of institutions globally that is both an art museum and a center for research, critical discussion, and higher education in the visual arts.
