AUTUMN YOGA CLASSES OFFERED AT CLARK ART INSTITUTE

Williamstown, Massachusetts—“Yoga + Art + The Elements” is the theme of a four-week gentle yoga class offered at the Clark Art Institute on Wednesdays, October 17, October 24, October 31, and November 7 at 10:30 am. The one-hour classes will be held in the Clark’s Michael Conforti Pavilion. The fee is $40 for all four classes ($30 for Clark members), or drop in for $12 per class ($8 members). Certified yoga instructor Mary Edgerton explores the confluence of yoga and art with earth, water, fire, and air. Classes include contemplations on nature and works from the Clark’s collection to broaden the creative experience.
People of all levels of experience, mobility, and flexibility are welcome to participate. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one.
ABOUT THE CLARK
The Clark Art Institute, located in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, is one of a small number of institutions globally that is both an art museum and a center for research, critical discussion, and higher education in the visual arts. Opened in 1955, the Clark houses exceptional European and American paintings and sculpture, extensive collections of master prints and drawings, English silver, and early photography. The Clark is located at 225 South Street in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Galleries are open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm. Admission is $20; free year-round for Clark members, children 18 and younger, and students with valid ID. Free admission is available through several programs, including First Sundays Free; a local library pass program; EBT Card to Culture; Bank of America Museums on Us; and Blue Star Museums.
