MOTHER’S DAY BRUNCH AND ART-MAKING ACTIVITIES SLATED AT CLARK ART INSTITUTE

Williamstown, Massachusetts—Make your Mother’s Day celebrations extra special with a visit to the Clark Art Institute on Sunday, May 13. At 10:30 am, Executive Chef Dan Hardy presents an elegant buffet sweetened by honey produced by the Clark’s bee colony. The menu includes honey bourbon glazed ham, smoked salmon with accompaniments, quiche, French toast, bacon, breakfast potatoes, fresh fruit, yogurt with berries and granola, honey yeast rolls, honey apple cake, and assorted pastries. In the afternoon from 1–4 pm, stop by an art-making workshop with local glass artist Lisa Mendel on the lower level of the Clark Center. Learn to etch a mirror and keep it as a gift for your mother or yourself. At 2 pm, spend quality time in the galleries with a special talk related to the theme of motherhood.
These events are free with paid admission.
ABOUT THE CLARK
The Clark Art Institute, located in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, is one of a small number of institutions globally that is both an art museum and a center for research, critical discussion, and higher education in the visual arts. Opened in 1955, the Clark houses exceptional European and American paintings and sculpture, extensive collections of master prints and drawings, English silver, and early photography. The Clark is located at 225 South Street in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Galleries are open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm. Admission is $20; free year-round for Clark members, children 18 and younger, and students with valid ID. Free admission is available through several programs, including First Sundays Free; a local library pass program; EBT Card to Culture; Bank of America Museums on Us; and Blue Star Museums.
