ANNUAL TRAILBLAZER 5K RUN / WALK RETURNS TO CLARK ART INSTITUTE

Williamstown, Massachusetts—The natural beauty of the Clark Art Institute’s campus sets the stage for the annual Trailblazer 5K on Saturday, October 6 at 9 am. Run or walk up the summit of Stone Hill and on the trails through meadows and woodlands. Awards are given to the top male and female runners in age groups.
The pre-registration entrance fee, valid through September 23, is $25 ($20 Clark members) plus $2 processing fee; ages 12 and under free. All pre-registered runners/walkers will receive a race shirt. After September 23, the entrance fee is $30 ($25 for Clark members) plus $2 processing fee; no shirts will be included. Day-of-race pick-up and registration start at 8 am.
Devin Kibbe, co-owner of North Adams Yoga, offers a thirty-minute warm-up for race participants at 8:30 am. No yoga mat is required. Nature’s Closet of Williamstown hosts a race gear market before and after the race.
Proceeds from the race go towards maintenance of the trails on the Clark’s campus and the extended Williamstown trail network supported by the Rural Lands Foundation.

ABOUT THE CLARK
The Clark Art Institute, located in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, is one of a small number of institutions globally that is both an art museum and a center for research, critical discussion, and higher education in the visual arts. Opened in 1955, the Clark houses exceptional European and American paintings and sculpture, extensive collections of master prints and drawings, English silver, and early photography. The Clark is located at 225 South Street in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Galleries are open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm. Admission is $20; free year-round for Clark members, children 18 and younger, and students with valid ID.
