CLARK ART INSTITUTE TO AIR LONDON NATIONAL THEATRE’S ‘JULIE’

Williamstown, Massachusetts—The Clark Art Institute airs a broadcast of Julie, a production of London’s National Theatre Live, on Saturday, February 16 at 1 pm. Tickets are $18 ($16 members) and may be purchased online at clarkart.edu or by calling the box office at 413 458 0524.
Called “provocative and profound” by The Stage, the production is directed by Carrie Cracknell (NT Live’s The Deep Blue Sea) and broadcast from the National Theatre. Vanessa Kirby (The Crown, NT Live’s A Streetcar Named Desire) and Eric Kofi Abrefa (The Amen Corner) star.
Wild and newly single, Julie throws a late-night party. In the kitchen, Jean and Kristina clean up as the celebration heaves above them. Crossing the threshold, Julie initiates a power game with Jean—which rapidly descends into a savage fight for survival.
Run time is 75 minutes. This is an encore presentation. All ticket sales are non-refundable. Please note that Julie contains strobe lighting.
ABOUT THE CLARK
The Clark Art Institute, located in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, is one of a small number of institutions globally that is both an art museum and a center for research, critical discussion, and higher education in the visual arts. The Clark, which has a three-star rating in the Michelin Green Guide, is located at 225 South Street in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Galleries are open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm; open daily in July and August. Admission is $20; free year-round for Clark members, children 18 and younger, and students with valid ID.
