CLARK ART INSTITUTE PRESENTS BOLSHOI BALLET’S THE NUTCRACKER ON SCREEN AND SUGAR PLUM FAIRY TEA PARTY

Williamstown, Massachusetts—The Clark Art Institute presents a day of holiday cheer for all ages on Sunday, December 15.

Enjoy a day of festive treats, starting with the Sugar Plum Fairy Tea Party at 12:30 pm. Savory sandwiches and a selection of sweets, including tarts, meringues, and cookies, will be served alongside hot chocolate, tea, and coffee in the Clark’s beautiful Michael Conforti Pavilion. Tickets for the tea party are $25 adults ($23 members); $16 children ($13 members); reservations must be made by December 10.

At 2 pm, an encore HD broadcast of the exquisite Bolshoi Ballet production of Tchaikovsky’s beloved seasonal treat, The Nutcracker, will transport audiences of all ages into a magical fairyland. Soloist Margarita Shrainer perfectly embodies Marie’s innocence and enchantment, and Principal Dancer Semyon Chudin makes a supremely elegant Nutcracker prince in this timeless story. Run time is two hours and 30 minutes, and tickets are $18 ($15 members); $11 children ($9 members).
