Malcolm Bull teaches at Oxford University's Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art. The author of The Mirror of the Gods: Classical Mythology in Renaissance Art (Oxford, 2005), he has also published extensively in philosophy and the social sciences. While at the Clark, he will be looking at the role of trust in modern art and re-examining the historical and social significance of artistic modernisms of the period 1900-70.
