Mark Jarzombek is director of the department of history, theory, and criticism of architecture and art and associate professor of history and architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is equally at home in the history and the theory of architecture, and is the author of many books and articles, including On Leon Battista Alberti, His Literary and Aesthetic Theories (Cambridge, MA, 1989) and The Psychologizing of Modernity, Art, Architecture and History (Cambridge, 2000). His Clark project explores the concept of fame in architecture.
