Can you "do science" in a science museum? The word science means knowledge about things and how they work. Scientists are curious about everything in the universe. How cold does water have to be before it turns to ice? Could there be life on Mars? What makes rockets fly? Scientists investigate these and millions of other questions, measuring and experimenting as they try to prove or disprove their theories. Science museums encourage their visitors to think like scientists-to explore how things work and to ask questions that help us understand the universe better.
