School Groups

Engaging with art enhances learning, offers expanded dimensions for understanding, knowledge, and skill building, and can connect to most subject areas across grade levels. The Clark welcomes school groups of all ages—from Pre-K through University—for free, year-round. Our school group tours are offered to all groups free of charge and can be tailored to support areas of your curriculum and particular learning goals, as well as state and federal standards. All school group visits must be scheduled through the Education Department at least two weeks in advance.

for teachers

Are you passionate about working with other educators to develop new ways for teachers and students to experience museums? Apply to be a part of the Clark's new Teacher Advisory Group (applications are due September 18).

To stay in the loop, sign up for our Teacher Newsletter that includes information about upcoming exhibitions and other programming for students.

Plan a School Visit

We encourage school groups to visit the museum in person (for groups that cannot make an in-person visit, a digital engagement can be arranged) and we provide generous transportation reimbursement. Check out our available tours and review the teacher guidelines to learn more about visiting the Clark with your students.

To plan a visit, fill out our School Group Visit Request form. If you have any questions, please contact our Department Coordinator, Lily McGartland, by phone 413 458 0563 or email.
