Americana Family Day
Sunday, June 30 at 11 am
The Clark’s free Family Day is a great way to spend a summer day enjoying art and nature.
Americana Family Day provides visitors an opportunity to step back in time and walk among the sights and sounds of nineteenth-century America as painted by Winslow Homer and George Inness. Sing along to sea shanties, enter the pie-eating contest, learn to fly-fish, get your creativity flowing at a print making workshop, meet President Abraham Lincoln, try your hand at some lawn games children would have played in the 1800s—and much more.
A number of activities and art projects will be available for adults and children of all ages, including designing nautical tote bags and creating the sea in a jar.
This program is supported by funding from the officers and employees of Allen & Company, Inc.
